Kampgrounds of America, Inc. (KOA) is seeking a Property Engineer to oversee day-to-day maintenance and grounds operations across a KOA campground. You will lead a team of maintenance engineers and groundskeepers to keep facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained.

The role requires supervising maintenance requests, reading blueprints, adhering to safety standards, and coordinating preventive maintenance. Strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills are essential; willingness to work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years in a supervisory or higher role in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and other documents.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills.
• Ability to read and maintain a budget.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and complete maintenance requests in a timely manner and in priority order.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across the campground.
• Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
• Lead maintenance or landscaping projects and report progress to supervisor.
• Enforce safety standards and use Lockout/Tagout procedures when needed.
• Maintain inventories and contribute to department budgeting and reporting.
