Job summary

Friends for Kathy Hochul in Manhattan is seeking a full-time Finance Associate to support fundraising for the campaign and help run the finance events operation.

You will draft briefs, manage reservations, assist with donor outreach and compliance, and create event pages and invitations while keeping the calendar up to date. Strong organization and readiness for nontraditional hours are valued traits.

Qualifications

• Campaign or fundraising experience preferred.
• Able to start immediately and work nontraditional hours as needed.
• Self-starter, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong donor conversation skills for virtual and in-person fundraising.
• Knowledge of Google Sheets/Excel and Google Docs/Word.
• Experience with donor databases or Canva/ActBlue is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft event and meetings briefs.
• Manage reservations and event bookings.
• Assist with pledge follow up, donor outreach, and compliance outreach.
• Create event donation pages and invitations.
• Maintain the finance team calendar with events and meetings.
• Staff events and other tasks as needed.
