Job summary

Friends for Kathy Hochul is seeking a full-time Driver & Operations Assistant for the campaign of New York State’s first female Governor. The role combines transportation and administrative tasks to ensure the candidate stays on schedule and the campaign runs smoothly.

You will safely transport the candidate, coordinate with schedulers, maintain the vehicle, handle office duties, and support security protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have safe and reliable vehicle and driver’s license.
• Willing to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and independent judgment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Campaign or driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely and punctually transport the candidate.
• Coordinate timing with scheduler and event leads.
• Maintain vehicle and travel supplies.
• Communicate delays or route issues to stakeholders.
• Perform office inventory, data entry, and mail sorting.
• Prepare briefing materials.
• Follow security protocols.
• Utilize downtime between events to complete administrative tasks.
• Take on other responsibilities as assigned.
