Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia seeks a Summer Camp Staff member to support high-quality advancement experiences for Justice National Scout Camp guests and contribute to safe, engaging programs. You will interact with youth and adults, operate camp systems, and assist with setup and relief during camp activities.

Ideal candidates are 18+, proficient in Microsoft Office, highly organized, and capable of joining in diverse camp programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Scouting experience preferred.
• Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (background screening).

Responsabilités

• Answer questions from camp guests in a cheerful and efficient manner.
• Operate office phone, computer, and radio systems for program operations.
• Enter advancement records into online software and provide reports.
• Turn in accurate advancement paperwork to supervisor on time.
• Participate in camp-wide programs and activities.
• Assist with setup, maintenance, and takedown of program and camping areas.
• Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership.
• Abide by policies and procedures in the staff handbook.
