Camp For All in Texas is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to lead our on-site food service program for campers, volunteers, and staff. This full-time role includes managing 5-10 staff, overseeing menu planning, ordering, training, and ensuring compliance with health standards and ACA guidelines.

You will drive quality, efficiency, and safety in food preparation and service, while fostering teamwork and professional development among the staff.

Formación

• Five+ years of experience in a large commercial kitchen with menu planning and banquet/cafeteria feedings.
• Experience hiring, training and supervising staff across multiple levels.
• Experience planning and preparing special diets.
• Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• IT literacy at a user level.
• Maintain ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification.
• Maintain ServSafe Allergens certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provides leadership and day-to-day management of the food service program to enhance the campers', volunteers', and staff's dietary experience.
• Participates in the recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of food service staff.
• Oversee and direct food service staff with daily food preparation and service for camp groups, volunteers, and staff.
• Analyzes food service techniques to improve efficiency and cost control.
• Assists with menu creation and ordering of food and supplies while monitoring quality and costs.
• Schedules food service staff in accordance with Camp For All policies and labor standards.
• Promotes employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork with the Manager.
• Maintains safety standards per Camp For All, Texas Department of Health, and American Camp Association.
• Communicates with campers and/or responsible persons to clarify special diet needs.
• Adjusts menus and recipes to fulfill special diet requests.
