Job summary

Camp For All is seeking an organized, energetic cook to join our food service team. You will help prepare meals for campers and guests in a fast-paced environment and ensure cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas. This position may move between camp locations as needed.

Requirements include at least 1 year of food service experience, a Food Handler Certification, and Food Allergen training or equivalent. Evening shifts are required; strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a food service environment or related education.
• Food Handler Certification.
• Food Allergen training or relevant education.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Evenings required; no late nights.
• Regularly stand, walk, and use hands.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally.
• Work in hot and cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and sanitary standards per Camp For All and industry guidelines.
• Prepare food per the Food Service Manager’s instructions.
• Clean dishes, utensils, kitchen and dining areas.
• Maintain a positive, friendly service attitude.
• Communicate inventory needs to the Food Service Manager.
• Assist with checking in food orders as delivered.
• Maintain dry storage, freezers and walk-ins in good condition.
• Be flexible with schedule and extended hours when needed.
