Wolfoods is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead our on-site dining operations at rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee daily culinary activities, staff management, budgeting, and strict allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This live-in, seasonal role runs May–September, requiring a 6-day/70-hour week with competitive pay and bonus opportunities. Room and board are provided for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certification is required (Allergen awareness).
• Strong leadership, budgeting capability, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic camp setting and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsabilités

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Manage kitchen operations, ensure portion control, menu specs, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen safety protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and sanitation standards.
• Oversee inventory, orders, budgeting, and daily reporting.
• Act as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
