Job summary

Wolfoods seeks a hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead daily culinary operations at our on-site rural camp facilities. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, ensure allergen safety, and deliver high-quality, scratch-cooked meals for campers during the May–September season.

This live-in position requires the ability to work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and to maintain strong coordination with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified (Allergens required before start date) as company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, budgeting capability, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Leadership: lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: oversee flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, timely service.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: manage allergy protocols and health sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: manage inventory, place orders, control budgets, track daily reporting.
• Client Relations: liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
