Job summary

Schlumberger is seeking a Kitchen Helper to maintain sanitation, assist cooks, and stock dining areas across a remote camp kitchen in Alaska. The role involves food prep, serving, and extensive cleaning in a rugged, industrial kitchen environment.

The position offers a 3-week on/3-week off rotation with origin in Anchorage, AK. Requires HS diploma or GED, 1 year kitchen experience or vocational training, Alaska Food Workers Card or ServSafe, and ability to stand for long shifts in arctic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in a commercial kitchen or equivalent training.
• Alaska Food Workers Card or ServSafe certification required upon hire.
• Pass pre-employment testing including drug, physical, and fit-for-duty assessments.
• Ability to work as part of a team and stand 12 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and coordinate activities in the food service area.
• Prepare food and cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, and meats.
• Stock dining and kitchen areas and maintain service areas.
• Clean dishes, utensils, and storage areas with proper equipment.
• Set up and break down tables, snack bars, and serving lines.
• Notify supervisor of safety or sanitation concerns.
