Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Director to oversee all daily culinary and service operations at our fast-paced summer camp program. This hands-on leadership role covers staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a high-volume, on-site setting.

You will live on-site, work six days per week (70 hours), and coordinate front-of-house and kitchen teams across multiple camp locations, ensuring quality, safety, and exceptional camper experiences.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens required before start; company-sponsored).
• Leadership, computer literacy, budgeting, problem-solving abilities.
• Stand for long periods; hot/cold kitchen; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to live on-site in rustic setting; 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, timely service.
• Manage allergen protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
