The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking a dedicated individual to prepare and serve meals for summer camps and rental groups. You will manage the meal program in the absence of the Food Services Supervisor, ensuring sanitary conditions and accurate meal counts.

Responsibilities include planning and serving meals with Food Services, maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory and donations, and supporting guests in a respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Education required: High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year food service experience.
• Certifications: ServSafe completed within 6 months of hire; valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Plan, prepare, and serve meals in conjunction with Food Services.
• Maintain a sanitary work environment.
• Monitor donations and inventory of food and non-food items.
• Help create a respectful environment for guests.
• Weekly cleaning and organization of freezer, cooler, pantry.
• Report meal counts for the Summer Food Service Program.
• Provide seasonal support as requested.
• Be available to work nights and weekends.
• Other duties as assigned.
