Job summary

Tamatta Mining and Construction Services Inc is seeking a Camp Kitchen Attendant for a remote mining camp near Winnemucca, NV. The role supports daily camp kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and safety in a high-occupancy dining facility serving approximately 150 residents on a rotational schedule.

You will handle dishwashing, basic cold prep, restocking, labeling and FIFO, and assist the kitchen lead under MSHA-compliant safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Handler certificate.
• Must have First Aid certification.
• MSHA certification required.
• Ability to work rotational schedules in remote conditions.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen areas.
• Perform dishwashing and dish room organization.
• Assist cold food preparation: chop vegetables, salads, assemble sandwiches.
• Restock stations and maintain organized storage.
• Follow FIFO labeling and rotation as directed by kitchen lead.
• Assist with waste management and proper disposal.
• Follow all Matrix procedures and support a team-first safety-first environment.
