Job summary

JCC Greater Boston is seeking a Grossman Facilities Manager to oversee year-round maintenance, safety, and operations at Camp Grossman. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, vendor services, groundskeeping, and seasonal opening and closing activities to ensure a safe, functional environment for campers and staff.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 5–10+ years of maintenance or custodial experience, with knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and carpentry.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma and 5-10+ years’ maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and carpentry is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Open, close and maintain Camp Grossman’s facilities, grounds and equipment year-round.
• Manage all outside contractors, service providers, facilities projects to ensure safe, professional and timely work completion and payment.
• Monitor, maintain and uphold Safety, Compliance, and Risk Management requirements/needs.
• Perform Multi-Site Maintenance and Repair Support as assigned by the Facilities Director.
• Supervise a crew of 2–3 employees during the camp season.
