Job summary

JCC Greater Boston is seeking a Grossman Facilities Manager to oversee year‑round maintenance, safety, and operations at Camp Grossman, coordinating with the Facilities Director for seasonal readiness.

The role supervises a small crew, manages outside contractors, and ensures compliance and risk management. It offers a competitive starting pay of $75,500–$80,000 and a robust benefits package, with on‑site work at Camp Grossman and occasional travel to other properties.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma and 5-10+ years’ experience in maintenance, repair and/or custodial work.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, heavy machinery operation, HVAC, auto maintenance and carpentry preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a motor vehicle and pass MRV review.

Responsibilities

• Open, close and maintain optimal condition of Camp Grossman’s facilities, grounds and equipment; oversee seasonal preparations, supply management and supervision.
• Manage all outside contractors and facilities projects to ensure safe, professional and timely work and payment.
• Monitor, maintain and uphold Safety, Compliance, and Risk Management requirements/needs.
• Perform Multi-Site Maintenance and Repair Support as assigned by the Facilities Director.
• Supervise a crew of 2–3 employees during the camp season for maintenance, repairs and groundskeeping.
