Job summary

B-Tech Fire & Security is seeking a Camera system / IT support Technician in Bloomington, IN to install and service advanced security and building integration systems. The role combines field install work with on-site IT support, requiring strong troubleshooting across LAN/WAN networks and customer-facing communication.

You will install Brivo, Exacq, Vision, AiPhone, and Honeywell systems, perform wiring terminations, read blueprints, and maintain vendor relationships while delivering reliable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Favorable background check required.
• Strong LAN/WAN, network switches, and IP addressing troubleshoot.
• Ability to install and commission security systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and service Brivo, Exacq, Vision, AiPhone & Honeywell systems.
• Develops and maintains access/intrusion systems and field devices.

Job Duties/Requirements Include:

• Installation of sophisticated systems including Brivo, Exacq,Vision, AiPhone, & Honeywell
• Develops and maintains B-Tech Fire & Security access/intrusion systems and field devices
• Responsible for wiring termination and system programming
• Maintains vendor/contractor relationships and ensures the quality of service provided
• Good understanding of LAN and WAN, network switches, IP Address schemes and troubleshooting skills to diagnose network communication issues
• Ability to read, understand and analyze architectural blueprints and electrical schematics
• Performs advanced support functions
• Communicate in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service
• Possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Minimum of high school diploma or GED
• Favorable background check required
• Work on other technical systems or projects as needed, such as, fire/life safety systems, CCTV and intercom systems

Physical Demands Include:

• Finger/wrist dexterity & hand/eye coordination
• Ability to work on a ladder
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs and drive a vehicle
• Safely and effectively use general hand and power tools
• Effectively use a cell phone and cell phone app for work order processing
