Job summary

B-Tech Fire & Security in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Camera system / IT support Technician. You will install and maintain security and IT systems, including access control, CCTV, and networked devices, while delivering professional service to clients.

The role requires wiring, system programming, fault diagnosis, and strong communication. You will work with Brivo, Exacq, Vision, AiPhone, and Honeywell platforms, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

Installation and programming of security and IT systems.
Develops and maintains access/intrusion systems and field devices.
Good understanding of LAN/WAN, network switches, IP schemes.
Reads architectural blueprints and electrical schematics.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Favorable background check required.

Responsibilities

Install sophisticated systems including Brivo, Exacq, Vision, AiPhone, & Honeywell.
Terminate wiring and program systems.
Maintain vendor/contractor relationships and service quality.
Provide professional customer service and technical support.
Work on other security systems as needed.

Job Duties/Requirements Include

Installation of sophisticated systems including Brivo, Exacq,Vision, AiPhone, & Honeywell
Develops and maintains B-Tech Fire & Security access/intrusion systems and field devices
Responsible for wiring termination and system programming
Maintains vendor/contractor relationships and ensures the quality of service provided
Good understanding of LAN and WAN, network switches, IP Address schemes and troubleshooting skills to diagnose network communication issues
Ability to read, understand and analyze architectural blueprints and electrical schematics
Performs advanced support functions
Communicate in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service
Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Minimum of high school diploma or GED
Favorable background check required
Work on other technical systems or projects as needed, such as, fire/life safety systems, CCTV and intercom systems

Physical Demands Include

Finger/wrist dexterity & hand/eye coordination
Ability to work on a ladder
Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs and drive a vehicle
Safely and effectively use general hand and power tools
Effectively use a cell phone and cell phone app for work order processing
