Job summary

OSU-Stillwater seeks a CAMA Specialist I to support the CAMA division with software implementation, training, and client support. The role involves assisting with real and personal property appraisals and cadastral mapping, plus coordinating mapping projects for county assessors and deputies.

You will attend conferences to present on valuations, develop annual work plans with your supervisor, and provide ongoing training. Occasional travel and long hours may be required; funding is contingent.

Qualifications

• Required: High School/GED; 3 years of real estate appraisal or related experience; experience with CAMA software or county assessor offices.
• Certification, registrations, and/or licenses: valid driver’s license must be maintained.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; extensive CAMA experience.

Responsibilities

• Support staff for the CAMA division including software implementation, training, and support.
• Assist with real and personal property appraisals and cadastral mapping.
• Provide orientation, training, and ongoing assistance to County Assessors and deputies.
• Attend conferences to present on property valuations and CAMA systems; develop annual work plans and goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned; travel in-state and out-of-state as needed; may include nights/weekends.
