LCMC Health is seeking a Patient Access Associate for our urgent care setting in Gretna, Louisiana. You’ll be the first friendly face patients see, guiding them through check-in, scheduling, and insurance verification while maintaining calm under pressure.

In a fast-paced, unpredictable environment, you’ll coordinate with clinical teams, manage high volumes, and provide compassionate service to patients and families.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of work experience acceptable in lieu of diploma.
• Strong customer-service orientation and clear communication are essential.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize competing tasks in real time.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist walk-in patients with urgency and empathy.
• Manage high-volume check-ins, registrations, and patient flow.
• Verify insurance, demographics and required documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure timely patient care.
• Answer phones and assist with scheduling as needed.
• Explain financial responsibilities and collect payments when appropriate.
