Job summary

College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty to teach non-credit, adult enrichment Calligraphy courses. Most meet once a week for two hours in the evening or Saturday morning for 1–4 weeks; no academic credit is awarded.

Instructors plan and deliver instruction in classroom, lab, or online formats, assess student progress, and submit required paperwork on time. Opportunities may include evenings and weekends; remote teaching with personal technology is welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience teaching to adults is preferred.
• Instructors should be able to teach in-person at the Glen Ellyn campus.
• Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings; delivery in multiple formats (face-to-face, online, hybrid)
• Student evaluation and timely submission of required instructional paperwork
