Job summary

College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty to teach Dungeons & Dragons in Continuing Education. Courses are non-credit, adult enrichment, taught on a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Instructors may teach in-person at the Glen Ellyn campus or remotely, with multiple delivery formats such as face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended. Compensation is stipend-based per course, with a required pre-employment background check and commitment to inclusive, multicultural learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience teaching to adults is preferred.
• Instructors should be able to teach in-person at the Glen Ellyn campus and satellite campuses.
• Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.
• Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.
• These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments.
• A pre-employment background check at the Colleges' expense is required.

Responsibilities

• Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings; courses may be conducted in various delivery modes (face-to-face, online, hybrid, blended).
• Provide student evaluation and timely submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
