Job summary

College of DuPage seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach non-credit Fiber Arts courses (sewing, knitting, crocheting, sashiko and related crafts) at the Glen Ellyn campus. Courses are typically 1–4 weeks, with weekly sessions, and may run days, evenings, or weekends.

Instructors plan lessons, teach in various formats, and evaluate students for completion. Preference for at least two years of adult teaching experience, with ability to teach in-person on campus and remotely via online platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience teaching to adults is preferred.
• Ability to teach in-person at the Glen Ellyn campus.
• Ability to teach remotely with technology and online teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Fiber Arts courses in classroom, lab, or online settings.
• Evaluate students and submit required instruction paperwork in a timely manner.
• Adapt delivery to multiple modes (face-to-face, online, hybrid, blended).
