Job summary

College of DuPage invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty, Continuing Education - Italian. Instructors teach non-credit Italian courses, usually once a week in the evenings or Saturday mornings, on the Glen Ellyn campus with potential remote options.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver instruction in diverse formats (in-person, online, hybrid) and evaluate students, with timely paperwork. Prior adult-teaching experience and ability to teach remotely are preferred.

Qualifications

• Instructors should be fluent in both English and the language they are teaching.
• Minimum two years' experience teaching adults is preferred.
• Ability to teach in-person at the Glen Ellyn campus; remote teaching with technology is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and instruct courses in classroom, lab, or online settings; courses may be in various delivery modes (face-to-face, online, hybrid, blended).
• Evaluate students and submit required paperwork related to instruction in a timely manner.
• Support student success in a multicultural environment and be flexible with schedule (days/evenings/weekends).
