Job summary

Zipline seeks a Site Acquisition Manager in California to drive end-to-end site deals—from sourcing to signature. You will work with Real Estate Development, Legal, Design/Engineering, Finance, and Operations, owning pace, quality, and results with high autonomy.

You will manage pipeline creation, negotiations, and diligence while maintaining CRM records and delivering within aggressive timelines. This role requires travel up to 20% in the CA region.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of site acquisition / real estate dealmaking experience.
• Proven ability to source and close deals end-to-end.
• Strong negotiation and contracting instincts.
• Experience driving contracting workflows (LOI → definitive agreement).
• Willingness to travel up to 20% across the California region.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a robust pipeline across assigned markets.
• Lead negotiations end-to-end: LOIs/term sheets through definitive agreements in partnership with Legal.
• Drive early diligence to surface risks before signature.
• Maintain clean CRM with disciplined stages and accurate forecasting.
• Stay aligned with cross-functional teams to keep deals moving.
