Job summary

FBFK is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations across Irvine, Century City and Del Mar offices, enabling attorneys to focus on clients and growth. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will bring a unified operating approach to all three locations and ensure scalable support while maintaining California compliance.

This hands-on leadership role covers operations, people and finance, requiring delegation, data-driven decisions and trust-building with attorneys

Qualifications

• 8+ years of operations leadership in a law firm or professional services firm.
• Experience supervising staff across more than one office.
• Experience building or standardizing operating processes across offices.
• Hands-on HR experience including recruiting, employee relations and leave administration.
• Working knowledge of California employment law, including wage and hour rules.
• Budgeting experience and comfort with operational data.
• Experience supervising hybrid or remote staff.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across Irvine, Century City and Del Mar offices.
• Develop and enforce firm-wide standards for PTO, attendance, remote work and time entry.
• Serve as on-site HR partner with recruiting and employee relations.
• Onboard lateral attorneys and their teams for productivity from day one.
• Manage California operating budget with Finance and monitor expenses.
• Oversee facilities, vendors and technology support across all offices.
• Report monthly on staffing, turnover, overtime and spending.
