Job Description

Title: Clinical Supervisor

Position Overview: The Clinical Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and guiding supervisees within Meridian Counseling, providing clinical supervision, ensuring quality client care, and supporting professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular triadic supervision to AMFT, ACSWs, and APCCs.
• Monitor and evaluate clinical work, offering guidance, feedback, and support.
• Promote collaboration and growth-oriented mindset.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and evidence-based interventions.
• Oversee management of client cases, ensuring effective treatment planning, appropriate interventions, and coordination of care.
• Request case presentations/video recordings to ensure adherence to protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Encourage employee development, measurement, and accountability.
• Coach to achieve successful results and enhance employee satisfaction.
• Identify skill gaps and provide training to improve performance.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback for supervisee growth.
• Address employee relations and performance issues with HR and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Establish and maintain quality assurance measures to evaluate effectiveness and outcomes of clinical services.
• Conduct audits of clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Address and resolve issues related to quality of client care.
• Foster a positive supervisory team culture via effective communication and relationship building.
• Collaborate with administration and intake for seamless service delivery.
• Ensure supervisees adhere to ethical standards, confidentiality and legal regulations.
• Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting practice.
• Address compliance issues promptly with leadership and HR, including harassment, bullying, and discriminatory behavior.
• Maintain accurate supervision records, progress notes, and performance evaluations.
• Prepare reports for leadership and corrective action plans with HR.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD/PsyD in psychology, social work or counseling.
• Clinical Licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PhD, PsyD) required.
• Proven experience in clinical supervision within a healthcare or mental health setting.
• Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, treatment modalities, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Prior experience leading and managing a team (preferred).

Salary Information

$68 - $108 hourly wage.
