Job summary

Tribute Portfolio seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee California HR operations at Four Points San Rafael. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and compliance across the state.

Collaborate with leadership to implement HR practices aligned with business goals while ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local laws. Strong focus on reporting, policy updates, and employee development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field preferred.
• Typically 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience, including California support.
• PHR/SHRM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations for California workforce, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance.
• Partner with leadership to develop HR practices that support business goals while complying with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Ensure California pay transparency, background checks, and new-hire reporting to EDD.
• Lead onboarding, notices, disclosures, and maintain employee records and HRIS data.
• Advise managers on performance, investigations, and terminations in compliance with laws.
• Coordinate training, culture initiatives, and reporting for HR metrics.
