Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis is seeking a Test Calibration Engineer to manage calibration, certification, and qualification of engines and components for aerospace, marine, and energy sectors. You will ensure calibration requirements for test equipment are maintained and met on the designated test stand.

The role requires knowledge of instrumentation, calibration, data integrity, and the ability to work independently or in a team, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in an Engineering, Technical, or Aviation discipline with 2+ years’ experience; OR a Bachelor’s with 1+ year; OR Master’s in Engineering/Technical/Aviation discipline.
  • US citizen required for consideration.
  • Experience with instrumentation, calibration and test equipment for fluid flow, pressure, temperature, force, electrical, vibration, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate measurement and test equipment used for development and conformance testing of aircraft engines and subsystems.
  • Select, maintain and calibrate standards; may fabricate tooling or harnesses to aid calibration.
  • Coordinate external supplier and internal Rolls-Royce Metrology calibration activity.
  • Maintain data integrity of databases for calibration and test stand data acquisition; manage sensor inventory for testing.
  • Support Process Excellence and internal/external Quality Audits.
