Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Aiken, SC seeks a Senior Manager, Development Engineering to lead and develop engineering staff, deploying resources to meet business requirements and drive combustion engine testing and calibration initiatives.

You will coordinate with global capability leads, recruit and develop staff, manage project timelines and budgets, and report status to stakeholders, while Rolls-Royce emphasizes equal opportunity and relocation support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in managing engineering teams in combustion engine development.
OR 9 years of experience in managing engineering teams in combustion engine development.

Responsibilities

Direct, manage, and evaluate development engineering activities related to combustion engine testing and calibration.
Coordinate with TT capability leads and organizational managers at the Aiken site.
Recruit, develop, and evaluate engineering staff; set goals and ensure training and competence.
Plan, coordinate, and control development projects to achieve technical and business objectives.
Manage project timelines, budgets, staffing, and resources for multiple initiatives.
Track and report project status to global stakeholders.
