Baxter in Medina, NY is seeking a Calibration Technician to support calibration and equipment activities for manufacturing and service operations. This is an on-site role located in Medina, NY, encouraging five days per week in-person collaboration.
You will follow procedures to ensure electrical, electronic, mechanical, and analytical equipment meets standards, test and calibrate instruments, maintain and troubleshoot equipment, and document calibration activities in approved procedures.

Your role at Baxter These are the employment prerequisites and job responsibilities for the Calibration Technician position, reporting to the Manager, QA Systems. The Calibration Technician supports calibration and equipment activities for manufacturing and service operations. This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical or technical aptitude to develop expertise in calibration, instrumentation, and equipment support within a regulated medical device environment. Important: This position is located in Medina, NY and is designed as an onsite role, with an encouraged presence of five (5) days per week to foster collaboration, innovation, and connection across the team. Baxter is seeking candidates who reside within a reasonable commuting distance and are able to regularly support the business through in-person engagement and partnership at the Medina site.
This is a manufacturing environment regulated by the FDA and many other work rules to prevent damage to the product we manufacture. Some of those work rules include but are not limited to: Wearing a static protective smock at all times while in the manufacturing/production area. Wearing a ground wrist strap and plugging that wrist strap into the working table. Working in close proximity to other employees. Working in an environment that is temperature and humidity controlled. Non-routine exposure to de-greasers, oils, electronic equipment cleaners.
The estimated base salary for this position is $49,600.00 - $68,200.00 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
