Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Greenville, SC is seeking a Calibration Technician to calibrate and adjust TMDE including oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters and more. The role requires using procedures, manuals and data sheets, with emphasis on safety and quality.

You will work in a lab setting, lift up to 50 lbs, and join a team that values growth mindset. The position offers a 4x10 schedule (Tue-Fri) and weekend three-day weekends.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of calibration/metrology experience or completion of a basic DoD Calibration School.
  • Hands-on calibration lab experience within the last 5 years.
  • Experience with electrical theory, hydraulics/pneumatics, and torque.
  • Calibrating/adjusting electronic or physical/dimensional TMDE.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Use calibration procedures, manuals and data sheets to complete calibrations.
  • Maintain knowledge of calibration lab safety and uphold quality.
  • Calibrate/adjust TMDE such as oscilloscopes, meters, power supplies.
  • Collaborate with teammates and follow specifications.
  • Support continuous improvement and accurate documentation.

Standard Job Description

You will be a Calibration Technician supporting our Lockheed Martin Greenville Site. Our team is responsible for performing calibration and adjustments on Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).such as, but not limited to: oscilloscopes, signal generators, multi-meters, power supplies, frequency counters, spectrum analyzers, digital voltmeters, AC/DC Standards, power meters & sensors, digital multimeters, and electrical test sets, physical/dimensional equipment and hand tools.

What You Will Be Doing

The Calibration Technician will Use calibration procedures, manufacturers' manuals and specifications and data sheets to accomplish work. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of calibration lab safety, be a team player, and be quality minded.

Candidate must be able to periodically lift and carry in excess of 50 lbs.

Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

Basic Qualifications
  • Candidate must have 5 years of relevant calibration or metrology experience or successful completion of a basic DoD Calibration School.
  • Candidate must have recent hands-on laboratory environment calibration experience within the last 5 years.
  • Experience with electrical theory, hydraulics/pneumatics, and torque.
  • Experience calibrating/adjusting electronic or physical/dimensional test and measurement equipment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
Desired Skills
  • Military PMEL/TMDE training
  • 3+ year experience calibrating/adjusting electronic or physical/dimensional test and measurement equipment
  • Experience working with electro-mechanical equipment
  • Demonstrate knowledge of regulations such as NIST,ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9110 or ANSI Z540.1, etc.
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel
Pay Information

Pay rate for this position is $27.21 - $49.04 per hour.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
