Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Huntsville, AL seeks a Calibration Technician to calibrate and maintain a wide range of test measuring equipment. You will set up sequences, follow specifications, perform repairs, and support quality on the manufacturing floor.

Required: high school diploma, 5+ years in calibration, MS Office proficiency, ability to lift 50 lbs, valid driver’s license, US citizenship, and ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance. Full-time role with competitive benefits.

  • High School diploma or equivalent with specialized technical training.
  • 5+ years experience calibrating / adjusting electronic or physical / dimensional test and measurement equipment.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Able to periodically lift & carry in excess of 50 lbs.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. Requires driving company provided vehicle twice per week to Courtland, AL facility.
  • US citizenship required to have access to site location.
  • Ability to obtain & maintain DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing / production floor environment.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training.
  • 5+ years experience calibrating / adjusting electronic or physical / dimensional test and measurement equipment.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Able to periodically lift & carry in excess of 50 lbs.

Desired Skills
  • Former Military PMEL / TMDE training.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience calibrating / adjusting electronic or physical / dimensional test and measurement equipment within a ISO 17025 quality system laboratory.
  • Experience with ESD workstation certifications.
  • Experience developing - manual calibration procedures from manufactures manual / specifications.
  • Effective communication skills
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $50300.00 - $93300.00
