Job summary

ShopRite of Stroudsburg is seeking an energetic Bakery Associate to support daily bakery operations. You will assist the Bakery Manager with baking, dough handling, icing, packaging, and decorating of pastry and bread items while keeping the department clean, organized, and visually appealing.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a fast-paced retail environment. You will interact with customers, ensure safety, and help maintain product freshness and signage throughout

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak English fluently.
• Able to assist Bakery Manager.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and work in varying temperatures.
• Able to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Able to work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Prepare trays and follow recipes for bakery products.
• Rotate merchandise to ensure freshness.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Follow safety and QA standards and sanitation guidelines.
• Restock and organize bakery items as needed.
