Job summary

SpartanNash in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Bakery Production-Central Bakery team member to support distribution and packaging for daily deliveries. You will read pass-out sheets and Special Orders, label and package product, and verify appearance and quality under supervision.

The starting wage is $17 per hour with a 9am start, Monday, Wednesday–Saturday; overtime can be frequent and schedules may change with production needs and holidays.

Qualifications

• Works under close supervision and performs clearly defined repetitive manual tasks.
• Reads pass-out sheets and Special Orders to distribute product.
• Reads and understands safety and quality requirements.
• Requires the ability to lift up to 30+ lbs and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule with weekend availability and holidays as needed.

Varies according to production needs, occasionally may have to work in other production areas.Environmental Conditions:Exposed to constant indoor temperatures of 75 degrees or higher, freezer temperatures of 32 degrees or below.Noise: loud machines.
