Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; training provided.
• Ability to stand and perform tasks in a fast-paced bakery environment.
• Strong decorating skills and knowledge of cake design trends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders at the bakery counter, and assist with needs throughout the store.
• Check daily orders, set up timelines and production schedules for cake orders.
• Decorate bakery items and stay current on new designs and trends.
• Develop daily bakery orders for bakers including cake sizes and decorations.
• Lead and guide part-time staff, providing instruction and reviewing their work.
• Ensure proper sanitation and keep the work area clean and safe at all times.
• Set up wedding cakes on site and communicate needs to the Bakery Manager.
