• Ability to solve practical problems and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Mathematical skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages for day-to-day tasks.
• Ability to lead and guide part-time employees and review their work.
• Clear communication with customers, co-workers, and the Bakery Manager.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile, take bakery orders, and assist throughout the store.
• Check daily orders, set timelines and production schedules, verify cake details.
• Decorate bakery items and stay current on new designs and trends.
• Develop daily bakery orders for bakers, including cake sizes needed.
• Track daily production and coordinate with co-workers to complete tasks.
• Manage product dates, pull cases, fill or replace items as needed.
• Order supplies for decorating and confirm receipt.
• Deliver wedding cakes on site outside the store.
• Communicate with the Bakery Manager about displays, ads, and special needs.
• Lead part-time staff and other employees, providing instruction and reviews.
