Job summary

ShopRite of Heritage Plaza in South Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Cake Decorator to assist the Bakery Manager with baking, dough, icing, packaging and decorating of designated pastry and bread items in the Bakery Department; to maintain a neat, clean and visually appealing department and to perform other tasks as required in an efficient and safe manner, within Company policy.

The role focuses on delivering a great customer experience, accurate signage, and adherence to QA standards.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Able to assist Bakery Manager and operate in bakery.
• Must stand, bend, lift 25–50 lbs; work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, safe work environment.
• Greet customers and provide courteous service.
• Prepare and rotate bakery items; follow recipes.
• Restock and price-mark products; adhere to QA standards.
• Follow safety, health, and company policies.
