Job summary

ShopRite of Woodbridge in Woodbridge, NJ is seeking a Cake Decorator to support the Bakery Manager with baking, dough mixing, icing, packaging, filling, and decorating of pastry and bread items. The role requires maintaining a clean, safe department and providing friendly customer service.

Responsibilities include following recipes, ensuring product freshness, proper signage, QA standards, and coordinating with other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Ability to assist the Bakery Manager.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and lift 25–50 lbs.
• Ability to work with customers and in a cooperative team.
• Ability to work all assigned schedules and adhere to attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Rotate product to ensure freshness and proper signage.
• Follow recipes and QA standards in food preparation.
• Set up, operate, and tend bakery equipment as needed.
• Perform duties in accordance with company safety and policy requirements.
