Food City in Greeneville, TN is seeking a friendly Food Service Associate to help run the bakery and hot foods counters with excellent customer service. You will support the store mission to Run the Best Store in Town!

You will greet customers, decorate specialty cakes and cupcakes, maintain cases, take phone orders, rotate products, and help in multiple areas as needed. 18+ years old; food service experience a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and courteous customer service to support Food City's mission.
• Greet customers and maintain a friendly, team-oriented environment.
• Prepare quality food and products to meet customer expectations.
• Decorate specialty cakes and cupcakes; maintain cake and cookie cases.
• Take telephone orders for food and specialty cakes; ensure on-time delivery.
• Rotate and date Food Service products; manage inventory and ordering.
• Keep workstations neat and clean; cross-train in multiple areas.
