Giant Eagle is seeking a Cake Decorator to help create beautiful and delicious cakes and to provide outstanding guest service. As a Bakery Team Member, you will decorate products in the department to ensure only the freshest items are available and you will build relationships with customers by understanding and exceeding their needs.

You should be a team player with a drive to grow into leadership and a passion for food, trends, and what excites customers.

Qualifications

• Experience required: 6 to 12 months or Giants Eagle Apprenticeship program.

Responsabilités

• Fill tables and cases with cakes by taking product from prep area to sales area.
• Follow procedures to meet out-of-stock percentage goals.
• Apply merchandising principles to generate sales and WOW the guest.
• Take special orders from guests by phone or in person.
• Maintain quality by checking dates and condition of products.
• Document and record daily known loss.
• Maintain safety as a top priority for team, guests, and products.
• Provide exemplary customer service by helping guests locate products and answer questions.
