Giant Eagle, Inc. is seeking a Cake Decorator to craft and decorate pastries that look and taste amazing while delivering outstanding guest service.

You’ll join a Bakery team that values teamwork, leadership, and a passion for food, helping create beautiful cakes and delicious treats that delight customers at every moment. As part of the Bakery, you’ll prepare and decorate products, ensure freshness, and maintain safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6–12 months or completion of Giant Eagle Apprenticeship program.
• Education: No High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Fill tables and cases with cakes by taking product from prep area to sales area.
• Follow proper procedures to meet out-of-stock percentage goals.
• Apply merchandising principles to generate sales and WOW the guest.
• Take special orders from guests by phone or in person.
• Maintain product quality by checking dates and condition.
• Record daily known loss.
• Prioritize safety for team members, guests, and products.
• Provide exemplary customer service and assist in locating products.
