Giant Eagle is seeking a Cake Decorator to join our Bakery team. You will prepare, decorate, and display cakes, delivering guest-focused service and helping guests celebrate moments with beautiful, delicious creations.

You’ll work with a team to ensure fresh products, accurate special orders, and safe handling of all bakery items, while growing knowledge of products and trends in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifikationen

• 6 to 12 months cake decorating experience or completion of Giant Eagle Apprenticeship program
• No High School diploma required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Lift up to 50 pounds

Aufgaben

• Fill tables and cases with cakes by taking product from prep area to sales area
• Follow proper procedures to ensure store meets out-of-stock percentage goals
• Apply merchandising principles to generate sales and WOW the guest
• Take special orders from guests over the telephone and in person
• Maintain quality of product by checking dates and condition
