Giant Eagle, Inc. is seeking a Cake Decorator to ensure pastries look and taste amazing while delivering unparalleled guest service. You will create beautiful cake art, prepare and decorate products, and support a Bakery team focused on freshness and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• No high school diploma required.
• 6 to 12 months experience or successful completion of Giant Eagle Apprenticeship program.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Age 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Fill tables and cases with cakes by taking product from prep area to sales area.
• Follow procedures to meet out-of-stock percentage goals.
• Apply merchandising principles to generate sales and WOW the guest.
• Take special orders from guests by phone or in person.
• Maintain product quality and dates in the sales area.
• Accurately record daily known loss.
• Maintain safety as the top priority for team, guests, and products.
• Provide exemplary customer service and assist guests in locating products.
