Job description

Position Summary...

As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver more of what members love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and resources, communicate effectively, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
2. Be an Expert: Plan bakery productions, ensure quality and accuracy of decorative designs, follow recipes, work with decorating tools, adhere to food safety standards, operate and sanitize equipment, and understand product layouts.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to enhance sales and member experience, utilize handheld technology for business decisions, and adapt to new tools.
4. Be an Owner: Drive bakery performance, ensure quality and date control, reduce waste, prepare for seasonal events, assist members, and resolve issues.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand through high-quality service, support and train team members, and foster a respectful, supportive team environment.

At Sam's Club, we offer competitive pay, performance bonuses, and benefits including health, financial, paid time off, and education programs. The hourly wage ranges from $17.00 to $24.00, with additional premiums possible based on circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications...

6 months' experience in a fresh production area, must be 18 or older, and willingness to complete required training and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications...

Experience in cake decorating or related skills are preferred but not mandatory.
