Store Director, Bakery Deli Director

In this friendly, flexible team environment, you will play an important role in helping us provide outstanding service in a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Your role in the store will be to assist the Bakery Deli Manager in providing creative, high-quality cakes to our customers.

Daily Operations

1. Providing exceptional service to all customers and sharing your knowledge of bakery and deli goods.
2. Creating attractive custom cake designs with visual appeal.
3. Maintaining proper stock levels of decorated and undecorated cakes.
4. Ensuring product quality, freshness, and proper dating of products.
5. Maintaining cleanliness and proper signage in the Bakery Deli Department.
6. Assisting with cake orders, managing inventory, ordering decorating supplies, and offering expert advice to customers.
7. Ensuring timely completion of orders and pick-ups.

Company Standards

1. Following all safety guidelines and reporting any missing or malfunctioning safety equipment.
2. Complying with company policies, including dress code and wearing a name tag.
3. Completing all required company training for the Bakery Deli Department.
4. Staying updated with the latest training and knowledge related to Deli Bakery and maintaining good communication with other departments.

Basic Functions and Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally, exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently, and 10-20 lbs. constantly while handling materials. Must have dexterity in both hands. Must be able to stand and move between various workstations. Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects to designated areas. Ability to use knives and other sharp tools safely for food preparation and packaging. This role involves medium physical work, requiring good vision, hearing, and the ability to perform tasks such as lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, pushing, and pulling, often on slippery floors.
