Store Director, Bakery Director, Bakery Deli Director

In this friendly, flexible team environment, you will play an important role in helping us provide outstanding service in a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Your role in the store will be to assist the Bakery Deli Manager in providing creative, high-quality cakes to our customers.

Daily Operations

• Providing exceptional service to all customers and sharing your knowledge of bakery and deli goods
• Creating visually appealing custom cake designs
• Maintaining proper stock levels of decorated and undecorated cakes
• Ensuring product quality, freshness, and proper dating of products
• Maintaining cleanliness and proper signage in the Bakery Deli Department
• Assisting with cake orders, inventory management, ordering decorating supplies, and advising customers
• Ensuring timely order fulfillment and pick-up

Company Standards

• Following all safety guidelines and reporting any missing or malfunctioning safety equipment
• Adhering to company policies, including dress code and wearing a name tag
• Completing required company training for the Bakery Deli Department
• Staying current with training and knowledge updates, maintaining good communication with other departments

Basic Functions and Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently, and 10-20 lbs. constantly during handling of materials. Dexterous use of both hands is required. Must be able to stand and move between workstations. Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items as needed. Must be comfortable using knives and other sharp tools for food preparation and product handling. This role involves medium physical work, requiring good vision and hearing, and the ability to perform tasks such as stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, pushing, and pulling, often on slippery floors.
