Store Director, Bakery Director, Bakery Deli Director

Pyramid Foods believes in supporting our local communities and is dedicated to providing our customers and employees with quality food and service at the best prices! In this friendly, flexible team environment, you will play an important role in helping us provide outstanding service in a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Your role in the store will be to assist the Bakery Deli Manager in delivering creative, high-quality cakes to our customers.

Daily Operations

1. Providing exceptional service to all customers and sharing your knowledge of bakery and deli goods.
2. Creating attractive, custom cake designs with visual appeal.
3. Maintaining proper stock levels of fully and partially decorated cakes.
4. Ensuring product quality and freshness, and properly dating products.
5. Maintaining cleanliness, proper signage, and organization in the Bakery Deli Department.
6. Assisting with cake orders, inventory management, ordering decorating supplies, and providing expert guidance to customers.
7. Ensuring timely order fulfillment and pick-up.

Company Standards

1. Following all safety guidelines and reporting any missing or non-functional safety equipment.
2. Complying with all company policies, including dress code and wearing a name tag.
3. Completing all required company training for the Bakery Deli Department.
4. Staying updated with the latest training and knowledge for Deli Bakery and maintaining good communication with other departments.

Basic Functions and Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes occasionally and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently, and 10-20 lbs. constantly while moving and handling materials and products. Must have dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to stand and move between various workstations. Must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items to facilitate workflow. Ability to use knives and other sharp instruments safely in food preparation and packaging is required.

This position involves medium physical work requiring good, corrected vision and hearing, as well as the ability to lift, carry, stoop, kneel, stand, reach, push, and pull. Work may involve floors that are sometimes slippery.
