Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a well-stocked and appealing bakery department, greet customers, suggest products, answer questions, and resolve concerns promptly and courteously.
• Take customer orders, create decorated cakes and bakery products using dyes, designs, and custom decorations, adhering to company recipes.
• Trim, cut, and decorate cakes, ensuring consistent quality and appearance.
• Assist in merchandising and inventory management, ensuring freshness and proper stock levels.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries; training provided.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with health and OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth department operations and continuous improvement.
• Utilize all provided PPE appropriately.
• Assist in other departments as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualification Requirements

High School Diploma or GED; 1-2 years of decorating experience preferred. Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
