Job summary

Rise Baking Company, LLC seeks an Operator II - Line Operator for the 3rd shift in York, PA. You will monitor line requirements, perform set-ups, and ensure materials and packaging meet specifications while upholding GMP and SQF standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma, basic math, English literacy, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; overtime is required in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to read and write English
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate scanner gun
• Ability to perform repetitive motions
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Stand/walk for full shift, lift up to 50 lbs
• Push/pull wheeled bowls >750 lbs
• Overtime required
• Able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish

Responsibilities

• Understand product specification sheets and adjust ingredients and packaging as required
• Perform set-ups and adjustments on finishing department equipment
• Ensure necessary materials and packaging per specs are available on the line
• Maintain GMP and keep work area clean and organized
• Monitor equipment and report faults to supervisor
• Inspect packaging materials and raw materials for quality
• Report safety hazards and comply with GMP requirements
• Provide backup for other Line Operators as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
