Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cake Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a strong background in creating delicious cakes. As a Cake Baker, you will be responsible for producing 3 to 4 batches of cakes per day using 50# bags of ingredients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of cakes according to recipes and customer orders
• Ensure that all cakes are of high quality, visually appealing, and meet our standards
• Accurately measure and mix ingredients to create the perfect cake batter
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure proper cooking
• Decorate and frost cakes with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of baking ingredients
• Collaborate with other bakers to ensure timely production and efficient use of resources

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cake Baker or Pastry Chef
• Strong knowledge of different cake recipes and decorating techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
