Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a full-time Baker and Baking Assistant to create high-quality cakes and support daily bakery operations. You will follow recipes, operate mixers and ovens, prepare ingredients, and ensure logs are kept up to date.

The role includes packaging and labeling finished cakes and assisting with planning and inventory. The position requires physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, on-the-job training, and adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision.

• Package, label, and store baked cakes according to quality and rotation standards; maintain logs.
• Assist Bakery Manager with production planning, inventory monitoring, and replenishment communication.
• Evaluate ingredients and final products to ensure standards; report quality issues.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock workstations; ensure readiness for next shift.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality; comply with dress code and hygiene policies.

Full-time Baker and Baking Assistant

Nothing Bundt Cakes is hiring a full‑time Baker and Baking Assistant to create high‑quality cakes and support the daily operations of our Bakery.

Work Availability

Bakers will work 30–40 hours per week, Monday‑Saturday. Shift times are typically morning (8:30am‑5pm). Some holidays will be required. Bakery hours are Monday‑Saturday: 9am‑7pm, Sunday: 10am‑4pm.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision and achieve productivity goals.
• Utilize measuring instruments, commercial‑grade mixers, ovens, and other tools to bake cakes.
• Prepare raw ingredients, load cake pans into the oven, and monitor the baking process.
• Package, label, and store baked cakes according to quality and rotation standards, and maintain baking and refrigeration logs.
• Assist the Bakery Manager with production planning, inventory monitoring, and supply replenishment communication.
• Evaluate raw ingredients and final products to ensure standards are met and report quality issues.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock workstations, ensuring supplies are ready for the next shift.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines, policies, and procedures, including dress code and personal hygiene.
• Maintain a consistent attendance and punctuality record.

Qualifications

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Previous bakery experience is a plus but not required; on‑the‑job training will be provided. The role requires strong physical stamina with the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
